Scrawled a little tale rather hastily, during last night and today, and sent it off to the Rainy City Stories/Creative Tourist short story competition.
Well, why not? It's far from perfect, but was a lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon.
I'll keep you posted. And may post it here.

Pro Hi SB! Afraid not yet, I keep wanting to find a quiet moment to sit down and read it properly, but that moment always seems to race away too quickly...
I see the voting facility is now available, although there are no votes because the first 500 words as promised have not materialised.

Pro Don't know yet I'm afraid, they just said some time this month. I have no idea how many entries there were, either, and therefore whether mine would stand a hope in hell of being shortlisted
